Some bloke rang saying he could sort my internet which is Virgin Media, but he said he was from BT. I told him my internet wasn’t working and asked if I could get his number to ring him back later. He then gave me this number,

Had a call from a guy named Mike Johnson claiming to be an IT guy from BT, sounded like he had an Indian accent. He told me my internet was being hacked and wanted me to log onto some screen-sharing website. Lucky for me, I’m in IT myself, so I knew straight away it was a scam. If anyone else gets a call from Mike or his mates, just don’t let them connect anywhere and keep them talking till they get bored. Don’t fall for it!

I got a call from someone pretending to be BT and saying my internet would be disconnected because of a virus. They told me to ring this number to sort it out. Looks like a classic spoof scam to me.
