Reports on phone number 02032398690
10 yearsI received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be Chris Martin. The caller claimed they were reaching out to folks with PPI claims, insisting that in order to access their funds, all they needed to do was buy some UKash vouchers and share the reference numbers with them. Supposedly, a cheque would be dispatched via courier later that evening. It sounded fishy to me-definitely a scam! I advise steering clear of any voucher purchases and reporting the matter to the police immediately, as well as informing your claims management company without delay. Stay vigilant, everyone!Chris Martin10 yearsEarlier today, my partner received a call from individuals who claimed to represent her late mother, who sadly passed away in June. They insisted that in order to release her inheritance, we needed to send them £478 in vouchers! Following the advice provided on this site, we promptly contacted the police, who confirmed they are already aware of such scams. The police then recommended that we get in touch with our local Trading Standards Office or Consumer Direct to file a report. We highly encourage anyone else who has been approached by these scammers to take similar action!Trading Standards OfficeConsumer Direct11 yearsOh, here we go again!
