2 yearsTOTAL SCAM!! Got a call from someone claiming to be from the “Barclays Fraud Team”. They never asked for my account details or sort code but somehow already knew my name, where I live, and the phone I use. The guy sounded really polite and had a proper English accent. He said there were 2 suspicious transactions on my account. Lucky I didn’t give them the security code they wanted to send to my phone or they’d have proper access to my banking. When I asked for a reference number so I could ring the fraud dept myself, they just ended the call.Barclays Fraud TeamSubmit Your Own Report (020 3239 7160)
