Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with O2 or Virgin Media or something. He started off all serious, telling me "you need to pay attention, your SIM card's gonna be blocked in a few days." I was like, "Wait, hang on, what did you say?" He repeated it was gonna be BLOCKED. I just cracked up, told him to jog on and called him a proper scammer before slamming the phone down. Absolute muppet.

Some bloke from India called me, claiming to be from o2 or Virgin, saying my sim card had to be replaced. He wanted my email, so I asked him a question to check if he was legit and he couldn’t answer. I told him to go waste someone else’s time with his scams, and he actually told me he didn’t need to scam me and would look for another victim.

The person on the other line was really hard to make out, and when I tried asking their name, they just cut me off and ended the call.

A couple of days back I got a call from this number but ignored it.

So this caller said I had to get a new SIM card because of the whole Virgin and O2 merging thing, but turns out it was a complete con. They somehow had my personal info and even got into the O2 text system, which made it seem convincing. Now, I'm stuck dealing with the hassle of calling the bank, O2, and trying to recover my email accounts. On top of that, I’ve got to reset all my passwords. To make matters worse, my SIM stopped working less than an hour after I talked to them. Proper nightmare! 😞
