Got a daft recorded message pretending to be from HMRC, saying there's a warrant out for me and to ring 02032396767. Yeah right! This has got to be one of the most absurd scam calls I've come across. Still, I bet some folks might get really scared by it. Just brush it off and don't bother replying! Absolutely IGNORE!

I got a voicemail from 02032396767 saying there was a warrant out for my arrest, gave a warrant number too, and told me to get in touch with HMRC before things got worse. Honestly, HMRC wouldn’t send messages like that. It’s obviously a scam so don’t take any notice, or better yet, report it to the police.

Got a call that scared me, similar to what others have said. The caller didn’t say their name but kept talking about some arrest warrant and court stuff. Like others have said, I got a voicemail claiming to be from the UK Police saying I had a warrant for my arrest from HMRC. It’s totally worrying and I reckon someone who’s vulnerable might actually believe it. This kind of scam really needs to be sorted out.

HMRC would never do that sort of thing out of the blue, especially without sending anything in writing first.
