My mum got a call from this number, some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft. Since she's nearly 80, she ended up letting him get into her computer.

Got a daft recorded message pretending to be from HMRC, saying there's a warrant out for me and to ring 02032396767. Yeah right! This has got to be one of the most absurd scam calls I've come across. Still, I bet some folks might get really scared by it. Just brush it off and don't bother replying! Absolutely IGNORE!

I got a voicemail saying there´s a warrant out for my arrest. Honestly, it sounds daft they would use a London number pretending to be HMRC.

I got a voicemail from 02032396767 saying there was a warrant out for my arrest, gave a warrant number too, and told me to get in touch with HMRC before things got worse. Honestly, HMRC wouldn’t send messages like that. It’s obviously a scam so don’t take any notice, or better yet, report it to the police.

Got a call that scared me, similar to what others have said. The caller didn’t say their name but kept talking about some arrest warrant and court stuff. The bloke sounded posh, yet the way he spoke was full of mistakes, which made me suspicious. Best thing is just to bin the message straight from your voicemail.

Some bloke rang my elderly mum, tryin' to scare her by sayin' she’d get a warrant and get nicked just ‘cause her telly was too loud. Wish I could’ve grabbed hold of him and given him a good shake!

Got a phone call today claiming I had an arrest warrant and to ring HMRC, which was clearly a scam. I just worry that older folks might get scared and stressed by these kinds of calls. It’s got to be stopped somehow. I’ve blocked the number now to avoid any more nonsense.

Pretty much the same as the others here. Got a voicemail from a clearly spoken bloke saying that HMRC’s put out a warrant for someone’s arrest, but they never mentioned any names.

Got a call from 02032396767 at around 9.20 this morning, only got my voicemail, talked about some arrest warrant dated 22/8/18 linked to an H M R C issue. Really caught me off guard!

My dad got a call from 02032396767 yesterday and it really scared him. I had to step in and reassure him it was just some sort of scam and nothing to be worried about. Told him to just ignore it. Then today, I got a call from the same number. I have an answerphone set up and usually, scammers or cold callers never bother to leave a message.

Like others have said, I got a voicemail claiming to be from the UK Police saying I had a warrant for my arrest from HMRC. It’s totally worrying and I reckon someone who’s vulnerable might actually believe it. This kind of scam really needs to be sorted out.

I got a recorded message saying I had a warrant out for my arrest over some unpaid HMRC issue. Sounds totally fake to me. HMRC would never do that sort of thing out of the blue, especially without sending anything in writing first. This kind of scam is really nasty and could easily scare people who are vulnerable into calling back and getting ripped off.

Just like the calls people mentioned earlier. Got an automated message that said it was from HMRC, spoken with a bloke’s accent from around the Home Counties, so it seemed pretty convincing.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be the police, saying there was a warrant out for me from HMRC. I was sure it was dodgy since the police don’t usually deliver warrants like that. Thought about calling back but figured it’d be a rip-off and probably expensive.

My elderly mum got the exact same call and it really shook her up. The person on the other end warned her she'd be locked up if she didn’t respond. I’m not even sure if it was a robot or a real person, but it left my mum utterly confused.

Got a call just now, wasn’t ready for it at all as I was waiting on a mate to ring me. The person on the other end seemed proper serious, talking about some court summons from hmrc or something. They said they’d send a letter to confirm it and told me to call back on the same number. Completely ridiculous if you ask me! What a load of nonsense!

Got a missed call when I wasn’t home, and there was this bit of a message left on my phone. When I called back, it was like some long, scary recording saying I’d get arrested or something because of HMRC. It’s so frustrating that even with all the tech and tracking tools available today, these scammers still seem to get away with it - why can’t anyone trace them and stop these dodgy calls for good?

Got a voicemail telling me to ring HMRC on 02032396767 because there was a warrant out for my arrest. They said not to ignore it, but it sounded dodgy from the start. I looked up the number, and found loads of others got the same call saying it was a fake. HMRC don’t normally leave threatening messages or use automated calls like that. Feels like these calls are designed to scare older people, which is really worrying.
