I was informed that the callers were associated with European Fine Wines. Since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I shouldn’t be getting calls from them at all. When we asked for their actual phone number, they gave us a completely different one, with an entirely distinct area code, compared to the number they initially rang us from. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I’ve had my fair share of dealings with those pushy European wine salespeople, and let me tell you, they really take the biscuit! They act as though rejecting their flashy “investment opportunities” is simply unacceptable. The nerve they have to claim that their fancy wines are foolproof when it comes to financial loss is quite frankly absurd. That's a proper dodgy statement if ever I heard one-time to show them the door and let them know they’re barking up the wrong tree!

I recently had an absolute run-in with a group peddling European wines; they were so aggressive in their approach, it felt like I couldn’t get away fast enough! They simply wouldn’t accept a polite decline. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to assert that their “investment” was foolproof - as if it couldn’t possibly come with any risk at all. Honestly, that alone sounds rather dodgy and perhaps even illegal. I'd suggest letting them know exactly what you think... in no uncertain terms!
