A few days back, I received a call from someone peddling insurance for washing machines. When I inquired about the terms and conditions, they put me through to a supervisor. I asked again for the info, and was informed that they'd send the details post-sale, giving me a fortnight to request a refund if needed. Naturally, I insisted on seeing the T&Cs before committing, but to my surprise, they just cut the call. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!
