Someone rang claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet and it might be at risk. I wasn’t convinced they were genuine and then they warned they’d cut off my service if I didn’t co-operate. Over the past few months, I’ve also had loads of automated calls claiming to be from BT, telling me to press 1 to stop my internet from being switched off in 24 hours. It’s clear Ofcom aren’t managing to stop these dodgy calls properly.
