I got a call from someone claiming to be from British Gas.

Got a call today from this number, saying they were from eon and trying to push a contract renewal way before mine was up. They told me I wouldn’t get any notice when it’s time to renew. They’ve been ringing the boss for over a week now, using various numbers, and this was the one they used today. Ended up wasting about 20 minutes of my time. They did mention the names of some directors, which you can easily find online anyway. Only thought to check the number after the call was done.

Got a couple of calls from someone claiming to be from EDF about my business contract finishing soon. They rang twice but just ended the call both times. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a number showing a London area code, but there was loads of background noise like a proper busy call centre. The person on the line had a strong accent and tried to convince me they were from British Gas, my current energy supplier - but yeah, totally not buying it!

Got calls from this number on two separate business lines we have (different trading names, different numbers) and both times they just hung up before I could pick up. Sounds like one of those pointless spam calls to me, would be keen to know who they actually are though.
