This has got to be a scam. I've gotten this so-called postcode lottery discount card 27 times now, and each time I was like, "Wow, I’m so lucky!" But then I remembered, I actually work for the postcode lottery, and this isn’t even how they normally announce winners. Plus, you’re not allowed to win if you're an employee! (I’m not, by the way, but they’re the ones who started all the fibbing!)

We’re registered with the TPS, so shouldn’t these kinds of calls be traceable and those responsible held accountable? I keep a log of every number that rings me and have been doing so since 2016. Right from the start, I had a feeling this was one of those postcode lottery scams. I decided to play along for a bit, but when they started asking me for my bank details, I told them there’s no way I’d share that info. After that, I just hung up and blocked the caller.
