I've been getting loads of calls from numbers like this and usually just hang up. Today, I decided to answer and simply said "What?" A lady with a foreign accent started telling me I needed to listen. I told her I wasn't going to. She pushed on, saying she had urgent info from Microsoft. I said I don’t use Microsoft products, but she kept insisting I did and that there was some danger. I said I wasn't interested, and then she told me my computer would get blocked and asked if I wanted that. I just told her to bugger off and ended the call.

Pretty sure it’s one of those Microsoft rip-off calls. They kept saying they were from the ‘Microsoft Technical Support’. The bloke was really rude and got aggressive when we didn’t bite. They called back like 9 times over two hours, using about 5 different phone numbers. All from the same lot, obviously. BT should really do something and block these scammers, but I guess they’re cashing in on it too much to care!

A bloke named Steven claiming to be from Microsoft rang me again, with a really strong South East Asian accent. He told me to hit the Windows key, type in cmd and then eventvwr, saying there were hackers messing about on my PC. Complete rubbish, all lies. The whole point was to get me to buy Google Play cards or try to get into my bank account for some dodgy international transfer. When I called him out on the scam, he started swearing in Hindi and made all sorts of racist, sexist and homophobic remarks. Is OFCOM not able to crack down on these muppets at all?

We keep getting calls every day from someone who says they’re with Microsoft, saying there’s an issue with our laptop software. When we ask them to prove where they’re calling from by giving a postcode, they just keep repeating our own postcode. Some of these calls come in really early in the morning, so now we just don’t answer.

Received two calls from this number, the first at 8:11 in the morning and then again at 9:44 on the 28th of September, 2021. I let both ring through to the answering machine, but not a peep was left behind. I've been inundated with numerous calls from different numbers that bear a striking resemblance to this one, all from similar area codes. Quite puzzling, isn’t it?

My voicemail caught the call but they didn’t leave any message. This number has rung me two times already.

Got a call from some bloke pretending to be from Microsoft saying my Windows 10 had viruses. When I asked which one out of the six Windows 10 PCs in the house he was talking about, he just dropped the call sharpish! Proper coward.

02031546415 keeps saying they’re from Microsoft. I phoned Microsoft myself and they said they don’t ever ring up to tell you your computer’s got a problem or that you’re compromised. They said it’s a total scam cause they don’t have the time or people to do that sort of thing.

This number has rung my landline quite a few times. Today, I picked up and a man with an Indian accent just said "Hello" a couple of times, claimed he was from Microsoft, then quickly ended the call. Microsoft never calls customers out of the blue. These are scammers trying to trick you into giving them access to your computer, often pretending they’re making a "refund" to your bank or card. Best advice: hang up immediately and report the number to the police, the Information Commissioner, and share it here! If your phone or provider lets you block numbers, make sure you block this one.

Got a call from this number but it went straight to our voicemail and then they just hung up. I checked the number to see if it's worth picking up, glad we didn't. Really appreciate the work you all put in and everyone who takes the time to help out here. Cheers!

02031546415 is a scam call. The person on the phone claimed there was an issue with my computer's security. I told them I wasn’t going to turn it on, then she went and called me a "Dumb Head". Totally rude!

This really pushy woman claimed to be from Microsoft and was quite rude. She said the telephone preference service didn’t matter because she’d sent messages to my computer. She kept shouting at me, and I could hear a bloke in the background telling her what to say. When I mentioned I use an Apple computer, she suddenly passed me to Apple Care (probably the bloke coaching her!). They both insisted my computer was hacked. Definitely a scam call.

A really pushy woman claimed to be from Microsoft and said she had my Microsoft licence on file and that hackers were inside my machine. She asked me to open it up, as if I’d fall for that! I told her I use an Apple, not a Microsoft computer. Usually when you say that, they hang up, but she kept pushing and started yelling that the operating system didn’t matter. I just stayed calm and told her I wouldn’t be opening anything and that I was about to end the call and report her number to the fraud team. Have blocked her number now.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft. She told me there were issues with my PC and IP address. I asked her to just send me details in writing instead of explaining over the phone. Picked up the phone and was greeted by a lady with a pronounced Asian accent. She not only knew my name but claimed to be representing Microsoft, stating there were hazardous activities occurring on my computer and that it wasn’t secure. Then she requested that I jot down some numbers. Realising it was likely a scam, I decided to play along for a bit of fun. When she asked me to recite the numbers back to her, I deliberately gave her a bunch of incorrect ones, which seemed to irritate her. I feigned confusion about her intentions, and before I knew it, she hung up on me. Quite clearly, it was a fraudulent attempt!

Got a call from someone with an Indian or Asian accent, sounded like a woman named “Kevin.” I asked her for the Microsoft staff ID to check who she really was, but she couldn’t give me one, said she didn’t have it. I got a call from someone saying they were a tech supervisor at Microsoft, claiming they were following up because I had ended a call from one of their agents about an issue with my PC. I told them I wasn’t convinced it was genuine, but he kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me explain why I was suspicious. After I asked a few times if I could say something, he just hung up on me. Seems like a risky scam aimed at messing with my computer.
