There was this bloke with a really thick accent, so it was tricky to catch everything he said. I think I heard something about a survey and something that sounded like "garden laws" or something similar. When I told him I was too tied up to assist, he seemed a bit confused. After that, he said sorry and ended the call.

At first, the person said they were ringing from BT, but then quickly switched up their story, saying they were actually with the ‘Department of Levelling Up’ and were carrying out some kind of survey about my neighbourhood and the services around here.

I've had two calls from these people, saying they're from the education dept and need someone to take part in a survey. They kept pushing for a contact name or job title of someone who could assist with their "enquiry." I told them I was the only one working at the time, but they were quite pushy and even a bit rude when I said I didn't know when anyone else might be available. I can't find anything online to prove this call is legit, so I don't feel right giving them any details, especially not names that might lead to harassment of my coworkers.
