Got a call supposedly from Microsoft saying it was about a security update. When I asked how they got my number, she said it was ‘on the register’ - nonsense, Microsoft wouldn't have my number and there's no way they’d ring hundreds of millions of people about a problem. Pretty clear it was a scam, and the person couldn’t answer any questions properly!

Got a call from 02031425339 at around 9:20 this morning claiming they were from Microsoft and there was an issue with my computer. I told them I was tied up, and they said they'd call back later, after 5pm this evening. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, she spoke way too fast for me to follow. When I asked if it was a sales call, she claimed it was online help for my computer. I told her I don’t have a desktop, and then she asked if I had a laptop. When I said no to that as well, she just hung up on me.

I received a call from 02031425339 - a chap named Jacob claiming to be from Microsoft. He mentioned there was an issue with my Windows PC. However, when I inquired how he was aware that I owned a Windows machine, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

got a call from someone claiming to be online support. she said my security system was showing issues inside. i told her my system was fine and i had plenty of protection. explained i wasnt free to chat as i was expecting another call, so had to hang up. she then asked when would be a better time to ring back, but i told her not to bother since i wasnt interested. i could tell it was a scam, but i worry others might get fooled and end up with their personal info compromised. that’s why i flagged it as risky. the woman kept pushing about some ‘damage’ that didn’t exist.

Some guy called saying he was from Microsoft, telling me my computer was at risk. When I asked for more details about who he was, he just kept pushing harder, making it sound like I was in serious online trouble. The bloke had a male voice but it sounded kinda robotic, though it was definitely a live person, not an automated message.

Most likely a spam call. I just let it ring without answering, and they didn’t leave any voicemail or anything.

I got a call from someone claiming to be online support wanting to get into my computer. This isn’t the first time either; he rang me last week but from a different number. Both times, I just ended the call straight away.
