I received a phone call earlier today from a person of Indian origin on my mobile phone claiming to be from Despatch at City County Court in London. He identified himself as Edward Clark. He provided me with a reference number and suggested that there was an agent in my vicinity who could deliver a cheque later today. He even provided me with the agent's name. However, he insisted that I needed to pay £150 within 7 days using a prepaid iTunes card. It is evident that this call was part of a scam. It is important to remain vigilant and not fall for such fraudulent schemes.

This morning, I received 10 phone calls insisting that I am owed £4800 from a loan I supposedly paid off. I requested them to send me all the necessary details about their identity and the company associated with the loan. Additionally, I inquired about whether I could receive a cheque for the amount owed. Disappointingly, they failed to send me an email or provide any information as I had informed them of my intention to legally verify their company details and contact the county courts. Consequently, it is clear that the company in question is bogus.

I received a phone call from an Indian gentleman named Alex Carter. He informed me that there is a cheque of £3,850 waiting for me and that a Mr. Richard White would deliver it to my home. I expressed my intention to consult my solicitor regarding this matter. Alex provided me with the following information: the address is 227 The Strand, WC2 A2LL and the registration number is CR2122. This morning, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the County Court of London. They mentioned an outstanding PPI claim which I was never aware of. Surprisingly, they had all my information and informed me that a cheque of £2850 would be delivered by a certain Mr. Richard White today. However, there was a catch - apparently, I needed to purchase an iTunes voucher worth £150 as they were unable to accept credit or debit card payment. Immediately, it became clear to me that this was a scam.

I received a call from a certain number informing me that I was entitled to receive £2800 which would be delivered by a courier along with a cheque. However, they also mentioned that I would have to pay £150 to the courier using my debit or credit card when the courier arrived. I suspected that their intention was to obtain my card details and clone it. Consequently, I voiced my disbelief to them and promptly ended the call. Now, I am immensely relieved that I took that course of action.

Blatant fraudsters at play here, masquerading as representatives of some fictitious 'County Court London'-a place that just doesn't exist! They had the audacity to ask me to ring them back about a PPI refund, even though I received mine from Halifax nearly four years back. It's all rather ridiculous, isn't it?

We received a call from an elderly acquaintance of ours. Curiosity struck and we decided to call the number back. The gentleman identified himself as Roger James, representing the London county court. He claimed that our friend was owed a significant amount of almost £3,000 and he also knew which mortgage provider our friend had in the past. This familiarity made our friend think the call was legitimate. However, things took a suspicious turn when Roger requested our friend to send £200 in vouchers to facilitate the payment process. He mentioned that vouchers like iTunes would be sent as payment. The strange thing was that our friend had never even heard of iTunes before. It quickly became apparent that this was indeed a scam. We advised our friend not to send any money and to be cautious in such situations. Fortunately, we stepped in and prevented any financial loss.

I believe this could be a scam as they are requesting me to purchase iTunes vouchers. They then ask me to call a specific number and provide them with the voucher codes amounting to £225 in order to pay for a supposed PPI check from Capital One and the London courts. This proposal doesn't make any sense to me and frankly, it raises red flags. Besides, I don't have the funds to do that anyway.
