6 yearsToday I got a call from this number, someone pretending they were from HMRC saying there’s a warrant out for me. Total rubbish, just a scam that’s been going around for ages. Don’t fall for it!HMRC6 yearsI got a really pushy woman who kept calling me, calling me annoying and saying I was wasting her time just because I didn’t answer her number for a few days since I didn’t know who it was. She was super rude and kept hounding me to pick up, no friendly chat or anything, just straight up aggressive. And guess what? She had the nerve to ring me again today!6 yearsGot a call from some insurance lot, total waste of time. Shortly after, I received another ring from 0161 962 4999, some PPI firm in Manchester. When I asked to talk to the manager, they just cut me off straightaway. The bother came from 0203 129 9033 and 01619 624 999.Manchester12 yearsTried calling me claiming they were from Media 49, but it was a scam. They wanted my personal info, so I just ended the call straight away.Media 4912 yearsTotal scam alert... They nab your info from job sites. Then they pose as recruiters and grab your CV. With all your info in hand, they try fishing for more details, starting with easy questions to gain your trust, then slipping in personal stuff they might use for hacking your accounts or who knows what... This scam’s been around forever. I actually enjoy messing about with them. Every now and then, they ring me and I act like a Chinese bloke who barely speaks English, making them speak slooooowly for ages before I burst out laughing and tell them to jog on. They’ll call back weeks later, and I’ll take on a different persona. Make up a fun story and mess with them, keep ’em on the line as long as you like or hang up when bored. - caller: Scamorama gangChinaScam Busters United12 yearsI received a call on my mobile from this number.
