Got a ring from someone named Paul Clark who claimed he’s holding a PPI refund cheque from Santander worth £4660 for me. He then asked for £170 for legal fees, insisting I send it via MoneyGram to a woman called Margreat (yep, that’s how he spelled it) Loft at some place in Coventry. Pretty dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming it was about PPI and asking me, a pensioner, for £289 to send to Mr Clark. They promised I'd get £3,000 in return. Total scam! I reported it to the police straight away.
