02031296637 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02031296637 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance call centre known for aggressive and deceptive marketing tactics, frequently ignoring Do Not Call requests. Callers often claim affiliation with major companies like BT, Tesco, Morrisons or Virgin but typically provide inconsistent information and hang up abruptly if questioned. They employ scripted offers of prizes or vouchers as bait and gather personal details, raising privacy concerns and suspicions of data sharing with third parties. Calls occur multiple times daily, including unsociable hours, with frequent silence or immediate hang-ups when answered. Blocking measures, including network-level call blocking services, appear largely ineffective. Users are advised not to engage, not to provide personal information, and to report the number to relevant authorities such as Ofcom to help curb these intrusive and potentially fraudulent calls.

This is clearly a call centre that thrives on pushy sales tactics and harasses individuals with incessant calls.

Well done, you’ve shed your ex-directory status! Prepare yourself, as we’ll be in touch incessantly until we’ve squeezed every last penny from you.

It's been a couple of days without any calls, fingers crossed they’ve all been caught and locked up for good! Wouldn't mind if the key was chucked away as well.

I managed to block the number a few days back but they keep ringing me like 3 to 4 times every single day. It's really annoying.

I've been receiving calls from this number, plus 02031296538, around three or four times daily. I've opted not to answer, but a quick search revealed that they are nothing but a nuisance. I've gone ahead and blocked them, yet they seem to persistently ring me anyway. Such a bother!

I’ve received two silent calls this week, quite puzzling!

A woman with a Caribbean accent rang me up to inform me that I'd won a £50 gift basket. When I inquired, she claimed to be representing BT. Curious, I asked where she was calling from, and she insisted it was the UK. I pointed out that I intended to contact BT, given that UK businesses aren't allowed to make unsolicited calls. She argued that it wasn't a cold call, but I clarified that it indeed was; I hadn't solicited BT's contact nor had I entered any draw or competition, so the supposed hamper was a surprise to me. Quite abruptly, she hung up.

They've called me twice over the last couple of days, and honestly, I’ve stopped picking up my landline because it’s just nonstop nonsense. They hang up straight away anyway. Of course, it happened again on a Saturday lunchtime - what a surprise! These folks clearly don’t mind bothering anyone. If they actually needed to get hold of us, they’d ring the mobiles or leave a message. I’m just ignoring the landline now, it’s pointless.

They've rang me three times over the past four days. Got the number saved on caller ID now, so I'm not answering anymore.

I tried calling the number back but got a message saying the line isn’t currently taking calls, and there was no info on who it might be.

This number has a habit of ringing me at various hours throughout the day, rather incessantly, I might add.

This blocked caller rings me multiple times every day. It's frustrating that the government hasn't managed to deal with these nuisance calls yet.

I reckon it’s about time landlines were done away with. Just got a call from this number that rang once and then switched off. We’re all using mobiles these days anyway, so why keep those old home phones? Would save us all the junk calls and nonsense. Maybe it’s best to ditch the landline for good.

I've been inundated with calls from this number, despite having BT Call Protect 1572 in place and having tagged it as Junk Mail. Strangely enough, it’s still getting through to me just like the number 02031296638. When I attempt to report either one back to 1572, I get a message from BT saying they’re already on the blocked list. So I'm left wondering: why on earth are these calls still making it through? And what's more, they never leave a message? It's baffling!

Just got a call from some place called "Global Consumer Leads" - had a quick look at their site and honestly, you’re better off not picking up when they ring. Their whole vibe and what they say they do shows they’re pretty pushy and won’t really give a toss about your privacy. Expect them to bug you no matter what time it is! Total nightmare if you value your peace.

Sounds like one of those market research firms that try to trick you into giving personal details by dangling fake rewards. I had a look at their site, something like [#]global-leads[###]/who-we-are.html, and it felt pretty dodgy to me. Just watch out, they might not be as genuine as they claim.

I think they might be passing on your details, like your name and phone number, along with any info you share, to other firms such as Goodwin Barrett. I found this out because the very next day, Goodwin called me asking if I was interested in compensation for poor investments, which was strangely similar to some of the questions they’d asked me before.

This appears to be a call centre that's heavily focused on targeted marketing strategies. They seem wholly uninterested in respecting Ex Directory requests or any other means you've put in place to avoid their incessant ringing. I received a staggering six calls from them in just four hours before I finally decided to block their number. Quite infuriating!

Got a call around 8.20pm from someone claiming to be BT and they even used my name. I told them straight up "You’re not from BT, leave me alone!!" BT already told me they don’t ring up customers, especially so late in the evening.

I've noticed that this number has raised a few red flags across multiple platforms. For the past few days, it’s been pestering me with calls two or three times every single day! I urge everyone to take a moment and lodge a complaint with Ofcom. The directors of such companies could face hefty fines amounting to millions for flouting the regulations. The more reports we generate, the stronger the message we send. If you wish to file a report with Ofcom, simply visit:

I've received a whopping 16 calls from this number recently, all about some insurance claim linked to a car crash. The funny thing is, I haven't been in an accident at all! I'll definitely be flagging this number to BT.

Received three calls in the past twelve hours, and they left no voicemail. Quite exasperating, really, especially when you rush to the phone thinking it might be urgent. Isn't there a way to put a stop to these nuisance numbers? It would be splendid if we could have them blocked and impose hefty fines on those behind these bothersome calls!

Just got a call from this number, female voice with an Asian accent like others have said. I asked her where she was calling from a few times but she hung up instead of answering me. She kept asking if I was the person she wanted but I didn’t reply to that. Strange call.

Got a call earlier saying I’d won a £50 voucher for Morrisons. The caller kept calling me Mrs, which I’m not, last time I checked anyway, and they even messed up my name and postcode. Was sketchy from the start so I told them to find someone else and ended the call. I never even entered a Morrisons competition, so the whole thing seemed fishy right off.

This number has rung me three times just today and yesterday, but I never picked up since no voicemail was left. It's really frustrating to rush to answer, thinking it might be urgent, only to find nothing. Why can't these kinds of calls be stopped? Would be great if there was a way to block them properly and those behind the nuisance got hefty fines!

Got a call moments ago, sounded like a call centre. Woman with an Asian accent told me I'd bagged a Tesco or Morrisons voucher (which made me immediately wary). She wanted my first name, so I asked why. She says it's to put on the £50 Tesco voucher I supposedly won. I wasn’t convinced and asked how I’d won it, as it seemed fishy and like a scam. She insisted it wasn’t, then I just ended the call. Haha.

I have no clue who’s calling since they never say their name. Feels like some sort of automated machine. I reckon picking up just tells other scammers you’re there, making you a target. Seriously, why on earth hasn’t any law been passed to stop this nonsense? The government really needs to step in and do something about it.

hey, they keep ringing me nonstop but hang up as soon as I pick up, never even leave a voicemail. you can't ring them back either, they're just out to make your life miserable. these calls come at the worst times, mornings, evenings, weekends - they probably even know when you're having breakfast or in the loo. privacy? what’s that? they clearly don’t care one bit. just gotta get used to it, I guess.

I got a couple of calls, some really early, some pretty late, all automated at first. Then this lady with an Asian accent comes on, claiming she’s from BT. She tells me my router’s signal is weak and starts asking what devices I’ve got connected. That’s when I just hung up.

He claimed he was calling from Morrison’s and said they wanted to offer me a £50 voucher for groceries to thank me for being a customer. Sounded a bit dodgy if you ask me. The guy had a really thick accent, and when I asked him to say which company again, he just hung up. Definitely felt like a scam.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from Tesco and Morrison’s, but then started asking me about where I live, my age, and if I’d cleared my mortgage. He went on saying he was the “manager” of the Tesco in Manchester. When I questioned him back, he just ended the call. Honestly, best thing is to ignore calls like this altogether.

Earlier today, at about 4:15 PM on the 1st of November, I received a rather odd call from someone with a West Indian accent. The person on the line wanted me to verify my name and address before launching into a rather peculiar tale about winning some grocery vouchers for Morrisons. I decided it was best to cut the conversation short and hang up. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to handle such calls?
