Every time I pick up, it’s the same script: “Hey, how's your day going?” So, I countered with, “Who am I speaking to, and where are you calling from?” They reply with some line about being in the UK and wanting to discuss a crypto investment. To which I respond, “Not interested, mate. How did you even get my number? It’s private, not advertised anywhere, and by the way, you’ve clearly got the wrong name.” The caller chuckled and asked me, “Well, then, what’s your name?” I promptly told him to sod off for trying to pull a fast one on folks. He kept pushing, saying, “Why don’t you want to chat with me?” I informed him the call was being traced and allowed him to ramble on for over two minutes.
