I received a rather dubious call from a chap purporting to be associated with Direct Connect Telecom. He mentioned something about a rise in my monthly charges and urged me to ring 02031296453 if I fancied a way to cut costs. He introduced himself as Glen, but I can’t shake off the feeling that there’s something fishy about it. I reckon he was fishing for my billing details rather than trying to help me save a few quid.
