02031295674 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02031295674 👆 is reported as being associated with persistent and convincing scam calls targeting individuals, particularly the elderly, with false promises of PPI compensation cheques. Callers, using various aliases, claim a cheque valued around £3,000 to £3,800 is ready for delivery but require victims to first purchase prepaid vouchers or pay safecards worth approximately £150 as a supposed processing step. These calls often threaten urgency, mention a courier or solicitor delivering the cheque, and cite familiar company names to appear legitimate. Many victims report multiple calls and attempts to obtain personal confirmation. Authorities have been notified, and legitimate organisations linked to these names are investigating. New visitors should treat unsolicited calls offering money in exchange for voucher payments as scams and avoid engaging or providing any financial information.

Today, we received a call from the same shady bunch of charlatans, this time a person going by the name Alan Jones. It's the identical con as before, but they’ve switched it up with a different contact number, 02031290276.

I’m absolutely determined to track down those two, Davis and Benson, and give them a jolly good telling off for their actions. They’ve really pushed me too far this time!

I wanted to bring to everyone’s attention that this phone number is still operating, as of 19/11/15, related to dodgy PPI schemes. Just this week, my mother-in-law fell victim to it and ended up giving away £300 worth of Sainsbury's vouchers after receiving a call. It’s quite alarming how these scams are still thriving!

My aged folks received a rather dubious phone call claiming that a chappy would drop by in two hours with a cheque for £3000. It's obviously a scam! How on earth do these crooks manage to operate with such impunity?

Honestly, shouldn't BT be able to clamp down on these numbers and put an end to such nonsense?

I just received a rather dubious phone call claiming that I was due to receive a cheque for £3000 today. However, before I could get my hands on it, they insisted I needed to purchase a £150 3v voucher. The chap on the line, Alan Jones, was kind enough to share the cheque number and the address for something called Claims Advisory, along with a list of three shops where I could supposedly grab the voucher. Apparently, Gary Smith was the one who would be swinging by to deliver the cheque. I was instructed to call them once I had the voucher in hand, at which point the cheque would miraculously appear and could be cashed on the very same day. What utter nonsense!

I received no fewer than five calls from some chap claiming he had a cheque for a whopping £3800 just waiting for me! He promised same-day delivery, stating it was a prepaid cheque that I could deposit right into my bank. All I had to do was cover a solicitor's fee of 25%, which he conveniently mentioned. He even threw in the option to contribute to a charity. When I agreed to that, he insisted that I confirm by saying 'yes' when prompted. I politely declined, feeling rather sceptical. It didn't sit right with me, and after I hung up, he had the audacity to ring back twice! Could this be some sort of scam?

My mum received a rather peculiar call from a chap claiming to be "Prince Anderson," insisting that she was due £3000. This was to be delivered by someone named Garry Smyth. However, before that could happen, she was instructed to head to a pay point and purchase a £150 voucher. It seems to be the same story as many others have reported! I reached out to the registered office they listed in Manchester, and apparently, they've been looking into this for a few months now. It's utterly astounding!

I’ve just had a rather dubious phone call from someone named Ray Jones, who insists that I’m owed a £3000 cheque linked to a mis-sold PPI claim. The catch? I need to purchase a £150 pay safe card to present to a chap named Gary Smith when he arrives with the cheque. Upon the cheque clearing, they’re supposed to pick up the pay safe card. Honestly, it’s patently obvious this is a con - I've already received my PPI payout and don’t have any outstanding loans. Definitely one to steer clear of!

Just received a rather dubious call from someone identifying themselves as Luke Davies, claiming to be associated with the Claims Advisory Group. Apparently, they’ve got a £3000 cheque waiting for me, set to be delivered by a courier. All I need to do is to ring him back after I pick up a £150 paysafe voucher from one of the three local paypoint stores he mentioned. I’ve got an hour to confirm I’ve got the funds, and then, when the courier or solicitor pops round, I must provide them with a cheque number - 546230, if I recall correctly. Given my previous dealings with the legitimate Claims Advisory Group regarding PPI claims, it’s crystal clear that this is nothing more than a scam.

I received a rather dodgy call from a chap named "Mark Benson," who purported to represent the Claims Advisory Group. He informed me that I had a cheque waiting for me for the sum of £3000 relating to PPI. He then mentioned that I needed to purchase a Paysafe card from the nearby COOP. Apparently, a courier, supposedly called Gary Smith, would be delivering the cheque, and upon its clearance, I was to send the card along to him. I've since reported the whole shenanigan to Action Fraud, and they’ve told me it's linked to an international number. What a complete con!

My aged father received a call from a chap purporting to be Mark Benson of the Claims Advisory Group, using this mobile number. He persuaded my father to go out and buy vouchers at a UCash store, promising a payout of £3,000 for a successful PPI claim.

A scam artist masquerading as Ray Jones Advisory Group is attempting to dupe people by saying they've won £3,000 in government PPI claims. They’re asking for £150 in UKash vouchers to process it. Beware of this trickery!
