This looks like a scam from people outside the UK but now operating here in London. Best to ignore and not pick up. Apparently, homeland security are looking into it because of connections to terrorist activities. Just stay cautious, you’ll be watched and could get reported if you deal with them.

I reckon it was one of those auto dialler calls coz after I picked up, there was this other ringing sound before someone came on. A woman got on the line and said I'd been in a car crash. I just ended the call straight away. Feels like a dodgy scam to me, probably tryin to get info or something, definitely not nice cos I've never had any accident like that.

I got this call saying I'd been in a car crash sometime last year, then they just dropped the call. I ended up blocking the number straight away.

I've received a handful of calls from them. My usual response nowadays is to unleash a bit of verbal venom, calling them con artists and threatening to involve the authorities. Not sure it does much good, but it certainly gives me a bit of satisfaction! I'm genuinely curious about where they source these numbers from.

When I picked up the phone, all I got was my own voice echoing back to me with a strange delay, saying hello. No one else said a word. It was kinda creepy.

A few weeks back, I received a call from a certain Alma James. When I inquired how she managed to acquire my number, she mentioned it was sourced from some sort of database. I cheekily remarked, "So you're already acquainted with my little 'incident'. I suppose you don’t need me to clarify anything then?" Her response was rather bemusing-she asked, "Did you not experience one then?" I countered with, "Well, perhaps you could enlighten me, seeing as you claim I did!" As I kept her on her toes with more questions, she eventually said she’d remove my number from their list... and promptly hung up! Fast forward to today, and lo and behold, she rings again! The same old routine unfolded. I reminded her, “Oh, don’t you recall our pleasant chat from the other week? You were meant to take my number off your list, and then you just hung up on me!” And just like that, she hung up again! I've had enough-number blocked!

Got a call from these lot earlier, claiming to be some tech firm wanting to get into my computer! I kept them hanging for about 10 minutes before I just ended the call. Total morons!

Picked up, some one said I’d been in an accident. I told them I was and asked for proper help to get a decent claim sorted. They just cut me off anyway. Even when you play along and say what they want, they still drop the call. For the record, the call came from a housing estate in east London.

Got a call from one of those 'were you involved in a crash that wasn’t your fault?' sorts of numbers. I’ve had my number on the TPS for ages, so I reckon they’re cold calling against the rules. They dropped the call as soon as I told them that.
