Some guy rang me claiming to be from Microsoft, said his name was Calvin Tam and told me I could just look him up online to prove he was legit. He said my computer’s IP address wasn’t private anymore and asked me to check it on my computer. He said he wasn’t after any of my personal information. I quickly told him I’m sick of these scams and ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a lady with an accent who already knew my name and initials. She wouldn’t tell me what company she was ringing from, but then said it was Microsoft, to do with my computer.
