Fortunately, I managed to halt the whole debacle during a phone call with their customer service. Just then, I received multiple alerts from my bank about charges being processed - they were not hefty amounts, a trifling £4.95, £3.95, and £2.95 at first, but still concerning. I’ve since alerted my bank, and they are keeping a close eye on this dodgy outfit. Just today, I also got a cancellation notice and a promise of refund from them, so fingers crossed for my money back.
