Somehow £96 was taken from my account and I never agreed to anything or clicked on any links. I simply deleted a message from Free mag when it appeared, knowing it was dodgy. Vodafone said they're giving me half back as a goodwill gesture, but honestly, I think that's shocking!!

What a total rip-off! They’re charging my grandma, who only uses a basic Nokia and doesn’t even have internet, claiming she signed up for something. That’s ridiculous. I got in touch with Vodafone about my issue, and they’ve gone ahead and stopped my account from getting any premium rate texts. They told me there aren't any costs hanging over me, which is great. Same thing happened to me today on my Virgin mobile line. I got in touch with Virgin who told me to just text STOP, and that should sort it out. I’m also planning to block the number so it doesn’t bother me again.

My lad got three messages from the number 700146101 telling him to text stop. I told him to ignore them and not reply. When I rang Virgin Mobile, they claimed he’d signed up for a premium service and that each text would cost £4.50. They said the texts were from a firm called NRS and gave me a number to call - 0203 129 2986. He definitely didn’t subscribe to anything. After reading the feedback here, I’m going to push Virgin to refund the charges and lodge a complaint about this company sending those messages.

Got stung outta £13.50 earlier today. Vodafone stopped them from getting through again but then told me to call that same dodgy number to try and get my cash back!
