Received a call from a woman with a heavy Indian accent. She claimed to be ringing on behalf of the Housing Association. She even knew my full name and where I live. She said they were following up post-COVID and asked if I had any issues with damp or mould. Straight away, I thought it was a con since I don't live in any Housing Association property. Then she handed over to a bloke who said his colleague was new and he’d take over. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he started getting a bit rude. I ended up hanging up. They even tried ringing me back a couple hours later.

I’ve been inundated with pestering calls ever since I requested a quote for life insurance. It’s become a daily nuisance, with at least two calls landing on my phone each day. I keep blocking the numbers, yet it seems they have an endless supply of them. These unscrupulous individuals even know my full name and my old address from seven years back! They throw my name and that outdated address around to make themselves sound credible, and I can definitely see how some might be easily duped. Whatever you do, steer clear of sharing any personal information with these con artists! Just today, they claimed to be inquiring about a disrepair claim. The others have insisted they're reaching out regarding my life insurance, rattling off three different insurers that they supposedly ‘represent’-yet they always manage to overlook the actual one I’m with.

I keep getting calls from a housing association repair firm. I've blocked loads of their numbers, all supposedly from the same place, yet they keep ringing. I've told them several times to take me off their list. When I mentioned this to one of the people on the phone, they suddenly turned quite hostile.
