I received a voicemail from a number similar to others mentioned here. The person who left the voicemail identified himself as Gavin Freeder, a Senior Lawyer at Martin and Jones Law Firm. He informed me that the police would be visiting my address to arrest me, leading to potential job loss. Needless to say, I felt extremely worried and anxious about this situation. Despite reading the discussions on this platform and conducting a Google search on the law firm, I was unable to contact the provided phone number, which displayed as unavailable. It deeply disturbs me that individuals involved in such activities can escape consequences. One can only imagine the impact on older or vulnerable individuals who fall prey to such scams.

I received a similar message from someone named 'John Anderson' two weeks ago, claiming that I am the main suspect in a legal case here in my town. They insisted on hearing from my lawyer; otherwise, they threatened to issue an arrest warrant. However, it has been two weeks and nothing has happened since then. It's definitely a scam.

I am employed at King's Money Advice, based in Norwich, where I encountered a situation with one of our clients receiving a menacing phone call from these individuals. Consistent with previous comments, their approach was intimidating. To gather more information, I dialed the number and introduced myself. I inquired about their company. The individual on the other end of the line, speaking with a foreign accent, informed me that he had to take another call and abruptly ended the conversation. I attempted to reach them the following day, adopting a more polite tone. However, they claimed that their systems were experiencing issues and promised to call me back. Needless to say, they never did. To address this matter further, I have reported it to the loan shark team in Birmingham.

Yesterday, I received a voicemail which was quite difficult to comprehend since the person speaking was not from an English-speaking background. The message alarmed me as it mentioned that I owed money to a payday loan and that they were accusing me of fraud and money laundering. They insisted that I should hire a lawyer if I didn't already have one, and warned that the police would be coming to my house to arrest me. Additionally, they demanded a payment of £564.00 by today, asking me to obtain a UK voucher from a designated pay point and to email it with a specific file number to a person claiming to be called J. Huddson at lawya.com. This whole situation has left me feeling extremely unsettled. However, I have come to know today that it is indeed a scam. Has anybody else encountered a similar problem?

Hello there, I received a call from the same number as well. The person on the other end doesn't speak English. I am planning to head down to the police station too.

For the past three weeks, these individuals have been harassing me relentlessly. Fortunately, I realized it was a scam the moment I heard the message. I promptly reported the incident to the police, although they didn't show much interest in the matter.

I recently received a menacing phone call from this number. When I called back, the person on the other end claimed they were dispatching the police to my location.

I would appreciate it if someone could provide information about the identity of these individuals. I've attempted to search for the company name they provided, but I haven't been able to find any relevant results.

I received a message on my voicemail, which seems to be identical to what a few other people have experienced. Like them, I also struggle with depression, and this message has got me feeling very frightened and anxious. I decided to call back around 6pm after receiving the message around 5pm. A woman picked up and instructed me to call during regular office hours, but she wasn't a native English speaker. I asked her who I had contacted, and she informed me that it was the Lawyers Office. Now I'm unsure whether or not I should call back tomorrow, and the uncertainty is making it difficult for me to sleep tonight. Being in this state of depression, worry, and fear has left me not knowing what actions to take.

I recently received two voicemail messages from a gentleman named Iqbal, who claims to be from Martin and Jones Law Firm. He was rather threatening towards me, insisting that I should engage a lawyer to contact them. If I don't already have a lawyer, he suggested that it would be wise for me to acquire one. In the subsequent voicemail, he went on to declare that this would be his final message and proceeded to inform me that there is a warrant out for my address. According to him, the police will be paying visits to both my workplace and my residence. I find this all quite absurd. Firstly, it is worth mentioning that his command of the English language was quite poor. Additionally, I am uncertain whether we commonly use the term 'lawyer' or if he misjudged our jurisdiction.

Beware of this fraudulent company, as they are attempting to extort money from individuals who have taken out loans. They are falsely claiming that failure to repay the loan in its entirety will result in police intervention. It is important to note that this is a blatant scam.
