I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying my Virgin internet was going to be suspended for a month. When I asked for more info, she handed me over to a man with a similar accent. Couldn't really understand what he was saying or get a straight answer, so I looked up the number. After seeing the reviews, I just hung up.

Today I got a phonecall from some guy with an Indian accent, claiming to be from BT. He said my internet was at risk and that if I didnt act, I'd be off the net for about 5 to 10 days while they sorted it out. He then asked me to enter a number he gave me into my computer... obviously I wasnt falling for that and didnt type anything in.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was from BT. He told me my internet was at risk and said it might get shut off for 5 to 10 days unless I let him sort it out. He asked for a code, but I said no way. Later, I tried calling the number back but no one picked up. Then, the same number rang me, and the bloke on the other end got really annoyed and started yelling. He even gave a BT London address to try and convince me he was legit. I just ended the call right there.

Got a call from an Indian lady saying she was with BT tech support. When I asked how she planned on getting my card info, maybe by saying there was an issue with my internet connection? She just cut me off mid-sentence! Proper cheeky since she rang me first. Just a heads up to everyone out there.

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was from Virgin. He said there was a problem with our internet and that the server needed to be secured. I said we’d call Virgin ourselves since everything was working fine, then ended the call quickly. Seems like a scam to me.
