Right from the off, there was something a bit dodgy about the bloke on the other end of the line, and further research online backed up my suspicions.6 yearssome scammer rang me up and asked for me by my first name. she said “just charlotte here about the washing machine at (gave the right address) to tell me the cover was about to run out.” sounded fishy straight away.
