Had a call from this number but no message left. Not gonna bother calling back unless they say who they are and why they called. Seems like spam to me!

Got loads of calls from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I’m in trouble with the law. They’ve been ringing me nonstop for the past couple of days. Definitely a scam.

This makes the third call I've received from different numbers, including this one! A woman asked for me by name, but when I asked who was calling, she just ended the call. I could hear noises like a call centre in the background, so I'm pretty sure it’s one of those spam or scam calls!

Tried ringing them a few times but every time I called back, it just wouldn’t go through. Definitely a spam number!

Today alone, I got that HMRC scam text about five times. Does anyone know if there’s some kind of official body where these numbers can be reported so they get blocked everywhere?

This number has rung me a few times, though I only picked up once. Definitely a scam, in my opinion. I doubt HMRC would call without using your actual name.

Got a recorded message supposedly from HMRC saying there's a legal case against me and telling me to press 1 - total scam for sure. If it was legit, HMRC would have sent a proper letter through the post. If you're ever unsure, just ring HMRC directly; their number is easy to find on the official gov.uk site. Don’t fall for these dodgy calls!

This number keeps ringing me but when I try calling back, it just says I can’t get through. And if I pick up when they call, there’s nothing but silence on the other end. Really odd.

This is the third time today I've got one of those dodgy HMRC scam calls. Honestly, when will these idiots get it that no one’s falling for their nonsense anymore?

Got three calls from this number today. The first two times it was some automated voice saying it was HMRC, so I hung up straight away. Just a few minutes ago, I picked up and there was music playing first, then a bloke started talking saying he was from HMRC and even knew my name. That was enough for me to end the call sharpish, didn't want to see what else they had to say.

I only caught the tail end of the voicemail, but it sounded a lot like the other ones people have been talking about here. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’ve just blocked the number.

Definitely a scam. I rang HMRC myself because I knew they wouldn’t be taking any legal action against me. When I chose the option for “responding to a call” on their automated system, it warned about a scam going around where an automated message claims there’s a lawsuit but told me not to reply or engage at all.

I had an automated call that my voicemail managed to catch, but unfortunately, the start of the message was clipped. The voice on the line was rather menacing, warning me about a potential court action and urged me to hit '1' for more information. I think I’ll hold off until I receive a proper written communication regarding this supposed 'case' before I get too worked up.
