Today I got a call from this number claiming they were from Vanquis, asking me on the phone to verify if I was a certain customer. Problem is, I’ve never heard of that name and I’ve got no link to them at all.

I've just encountered a rather unpleasant call from an individual named "Martin," who claimed to be promoting an EE deal. When he asked for my name, I pointed out that he was calling me, so he ought to know it already! I also made it clear that I had no interest in acquiring a new phone or changing my contract. His response was shockingly rude; he told me to "suck a dick" before hanging up abruptly. What a thoroughly bizarre experience!

Relentless stream of unwanted phone calls.

The individual on the line asserted they were representing some sort of recruitment agency. However, I'm absolutely convinced I haven't submitted any job applications in quite some time. Moreover, I'm happily employed at the moment.

There was this strange foreign accent on the line, really hard to catch what they were saying. I think they wanted a name but it wasn’t one I knew at all.

I picked up the phone and the caller just dropped the call straight away. Pretty sure it was some kind of spam. I've blocked the number now.

They tried starting a chat but their voice was all muffled and unclear. Acted like they cared about how I was doing or something. I just said I wasn’t gonna keep talking and ended the call.

Some bloke rang me up saying I’d made a food order, which I hadn't, and they weren’t happy about it. Then they told me I had to go pick up the food and pay for it myself. Quite annoying really!

Got a call for a business we once worked with, but they were using a totally different phone number than what we had for them! Was all about pushing foreign exchange services for companies. Definitely not bothering to respect the TPS list. We've gone ahead and blocked their number on our phone system now.

I got a call from someone saying he was a contractor for a job agency, but after checking, it turns out he ain't actually working for them. What he does is collect CVs and sends them to the government for their use! Honestly, I'd say just block this number to be safe.
