Got a call from a strange number on my phone last night, missed it so I decided to look it up here first. Lucky I did because it turned out to be another annoying telemarketer! Had three calls all in one evening, each from different numbers trying to trick me. Really appreciate this site and the help from everyone sharing info. Loads of calls coming through with strong accents - both guys and girls from Asia - all trying to get me to join some Community survey thing. They kept using what sounded like my name, but honestly, I couldn’t catch if it was right or if they mentioned their own names. Each one said it wouldn’t take much of my time. I told them I wasn’t up for it and asked them to remove my details from their database. The last bloke assured me he'd do it, but I’m doubtful if they actually will.

I’ve got Call Guardian set up on my phone and honestly, it’s been brilliant. Whenever a call comes in, it picks up and asks the caller to say their name. If they do, the phone then rings properly inside the house, and when I answer, I can hear who it is straight away. From there, I can hit 1 to let the call go through just this one time (but they still have to say their name), or press 2 so calls from that number always get through without asking, or press 3 to permanently block that number. If the caller won’t say their name, the call doesn’t get through but their number does get logged on my phone. This particular number rings me around five times every week. It’s not annoying because I never actually pick up, but it’s clear they’re dodgy since they never give a name. I really wish there was a way to find out who they are cause I reckon they’re pestering a lot of other people too.

I've received multiple calls from this number in just the past couple of days, and I find it quite unsettling. They've attempted to reach me twice in a mere ten minutes, which is rather persistent, to say the least. As I don't recognise the number, I decided against picking up. It's now totalled six calls from them in just two days-quite bothersome, really!

this number has phoned me several times this month. when i rang them back, they said they're from something called "consumer life style" and said they're doing a survey. they tell you to ring their number, 08000527277, to talk to a real person. but when you call any of the 0203090#### numbers, it’s just automated with messages. i’m thinking of making a formal complaint and maybe even taking legal action against these companies. someone really needs to put a stop to this madness.
