I got an email from Virgin Media about their broadband, and I was curious so I replied. The day after, XLN called me. I used to avoid them completely, but they told me they’re now under the Daisy Group, who I've had a good experience with in the past. I rang Daisy to double-check and they said XLN is now a part of Daisy, and Daisy is connected with Virgin Media. So, I’ve signed up with Daisy and will be getting the service soon.

Right from the start the accent gave the game away, so I just hung up on the pests and let them carry on with their pathetic, well-earned misery.

They keep ringing my work phone two times every day.

It was a scam for sure. They rang the company line and just asked for people by their first names, info they got from some old or wrong public list. Once I said they weren't there, they just cut the call. Best to block that number if it comes up.

It really gets on my nerves when my missus rings me nonstop, like ten times back to back, especially when I’m in the middle of work!

Even tho I’d blocked the number, the call still got through. A woman was on the line talking about our XNL broadband deal. She sounded shocked when I told her their number was listed everywhere online as a scam and that I wouldn’t dream of passing her onto our MD...

I just noticed a missed call from +442030899427. When I rang back, I got an automated voice saying something like, "Thanks for calling XLN Telecom, please hold while we connect you..."

Don’t bother answering, says it’s a cafe but definitely a scam.

The moment you pick up, the line goes dead. Looks like a dodgy scam trying to get you to ring them back.

Avoid XLN if you value your peace of mind - their service is rubbish and they sneak in charges that you won’t see coming. They’re a nightmare for small businesses, honestly. Stay well clear of these people.

Got a call from a bloke who knew my first name and said he was ringing from XLN, claiming I’d used their service for my business phone lines before. Right away, something felt off because whenever XLN actually called me, they’d always say “XLN Business Services”, not just XLN. Told myself this must be a scam and didn’t bother wasting any more time on him - just hung up straight away. Complete time wasters!

Today, I got buzzed 4 times on my mobile from a UK number, 02030899427, while I’m here in Austria. Didn’t know the number, so it felt a bit dodgy. Every call was dropped after just a few seconds. Plus, ever since Brexit, I’ve read that calls coming in from the UK can hit you with extra fees, so I just wasn’t taking any chances.

This number popped up while I was sorting out our charity's broadband, since Plusnet are stopping business accounts come September 2023. I filled in a quote request online over the weekend. Didn’t pick up the initial call ‘cause I was busy with work, but they rang back immediately from the very same number. No message or anything, just called again.

This number, 02030899427, keeps ringing me up almost daily, and they really don't seem to like it when I tell them to quit calling.

This number has rung me about five times in the past few days. The calls show up at random times, but they never bother to leave a voicemail. I’m guessing it’s either some kind of scam or a sales pitch. Personally, I wouldn’t pick up if it rings you. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone, and if you can, I’d recommend doing the same.

I got a call from this number on my mobile, but it stopped ringing before I could pick up. When I tried calling it back from my landline, it just wouldn’t go through. Kinda makes me think it might be some sort of scam?

They keep ringing from loads of different numbers, definitely a scam.

I received a voicemail where the chap appeared to be having a casual chat with his mates. The call may have got through, but all I got was their voicemail! Honestly, it didn’t come across as very professional for what should have been a work-related matter.

They hung up on me as soon as I picked up the phone.
