I ended the call as soon as the answerphone started.

Rang me outside of work hours then just dropped the call when I picked up. That’s a quick way to get blocked, I always block cold calls if they go quiet on me. Also, if they don’t leave a voicemail, they get blocked straight away. Only my office ever gives out my number properly, so any other caller is just spam to me.

Woman said she was with Central Claims and rang to give me a refund for some supposed 'extra charge' on my last 'payday loan'. Told her I never took out any loan and she said sorry straight away before ending the call.
