11 yearsGot a call from an Asian guy who said his name was Alan Corder and claimed to have an MS employee number. He told me my computer had blocked 19 Windows updates due to a licence issue and said I needed to fix it by following his instructions on my PC. When I refused, he got quite forceful and kept calling me "man," which seemed totally unprofessional. I’ve never seen that kind of behaviour in any customer service training. I just ended the call.Alan CorderMicrosoft11 yearsSome stranger called me up saying my PC won’t download the updates, but I haven’t noticed any problems with it at all.11 yearsOn 7th June 2015 I received a call from a very rude person with a thick Asian accent. I was doubtful right away, but it got worse when he started reciting a serial number - using phrases like ‘A for apple, I for love’. No real company would do that, they’d say ‘A for Alpha, B for Bravo’ and so on. He was pretty aggressive too. First, a woman spoke, then a man came on, nearly yelling, claiming he understood scams and money requests but insisted he was legit. He said he was from Windows. Total nonsense!India11 yearsHad a call from some bloke saying he was from Windows HQ, but honestly, he seemed proper dodgy. Asked him straight up to piss off. He was all keen to get into my computer, trying to grab PINs and stuff. Sounded like a clear Asian accent, but the phone number was from the UK, probably masking the real location somewhere in Asia. He was well rude too, like a rubbish actor from some bad eastern flick. Too dodgy to be real - I just told him to take a long walk off a short pier.UKAsiaEastern HemisphereYellow River11 yearsHe got really shouty when I refused to hand over details about my computer. Claimed he was from the Windows tech team, but I seriously doubt that was true!Microsoft12 yearsThis was a total scam! Some bloke saying he was from Microsoft kept ringing me, insisting my computer was under attack. Proper pushy, he kept calling me back over and over, about five times at least. Don’t fall for it, they’re definitely fraudsters and trying to trick you out of your details.Microsoft12 yearsToday, I received a phone call from the number 0203051683. Any idea who it might be?12 yearsHonestly, these people are total con artists. They called my mum and tried to trick her. Please, whatever you do, don’t answer them - they’re just crooks out for a scam.12 yearsGot a couple of calls from some bloke named Peter Williams, sounded really Indian, claiming my computer would get blocked by "Windows Corporation". Told him I’d report it as a scam and then just ended the call.Peter WilliamsWindows Corporation12 yearsSo, yesterday I got a phone call about my laptop from some guy named Jack Douglas. His accent was really thick, sounded like he was from India or Pakistan. He claimed he was ringing from this Windows company and warned me my computer would get locked in two hours. But something felt off to me. I said no when he asked me to turn my PC on, and then he got all aggressive, started yelling and said he’d report me or something. I just ended the call then. Watch out for these sorts!JACK DOUGLASWindows Corporation12 yearsThis number kept ringing me with loads of nasty calls from some bloke named James Anderson, who has a really thick Indian accent. He was saying stuff about cutting off our internet and locking our computer down. Later on, he even left a voicemail telling me to ring back, but unfortunately, it's just a voicemail system and you can't actually call through.
