I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Windows support, said my computer was being hacked all the way from Canada. He wanted me to switch on my PC so he could get in remotely. I'm off to report this to the fraud team now.

Just got a call from some bloke who said his name was "David" and claimed he was ringing from the Microsoft office here in London. He told me hackers in Canada were trying to break into my PC and begged me to switch it on so he could fix it straight away. Said it was a massive emergency and that my computer would crash if I didn’t do it. Sounds like a total scam to me!

So this bloke called me, said his name was David now instead of Joseph. He went on about some computer problem that sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I started asking questions. Nothing he said really made sense, so I just cut the call short. He mentioned an address too - 1 Victoria Street, Cardinal Place, London.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent saying she was from Microsoft. She claimed my computer was sending error alerts and asked me to switch it on. Didn’t ask for any info to prove her identity, so I just hung up.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be Joseph Brown, said he was from Windows support. He warned me someone in Canada was trying to get into my PC. I mentioned how Joseph Brown sounded like a proper English name, which didn’t match his accent. Then suddenly, the call just cut off.
