I got this automated call claiming there was some kind of probe into my National Insurance number, saying it might’ve been used in fraud or something, and told me to press 1 to chat with someone right away. It sounded really convincing and I can imagine it would freak out a lot of people who might think it’s legit. Honestly, it feels like a scam, probably trying to trick you into handing over your NI number and other personal details.

Got a call from someone trying to sell stuff, said it was about a car crash I supposedly had. Total annoyance. I just blocked the number straight away. Wouldn't bother answering or returning the call.

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent saying I’d signed up for some online trading site - which is totally untrue. He even mentioned my name, which was kinda creepy, and sounded like he was somewhere really loud. I told him the number’s on the no cold call list, so he had no right to be ringing me, but he just wouldn’t stop pushing.
