Phone number ☎️ 02030363697 👆 is reported as a persistent scam operation using a London number, where callers posing as Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or Telephone Preference Management aggressively try to obtain personal and credit card details. Callers often display detailed personal info, like names, addresses, and payment methods, which alarms recipients. This number called me and somehow had loads of my personal details like my full name, address and phone number. They even mentioned I pay my phone bill by direct debit. Then they tried to verify my credit card expiry year but got it wrong. I told them they were right anyway. When they asked for the month and I didn’t want to say, they just hung up. Definitely a dodgy call. It’s quite scary how much info they already had on me. I used Truecaller to check the number. Makes me worried about how easy it is for less careful people to get scammed.

Got a call from some Indian bloke claiming his name was Jim!! Said he was from TPS and wanted the expiry date off one of my debit cards. He already knew how I pay my bills and my address and all that. I asked where he was calling from, he said Leicester!! I told him I’d ring back to check, and he gave me an 08712700040 number. It's a premium line and just makes you hang about, so no point calling it!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from Telephone Preference Management. He asked me to verify my address and mentioned that I pay my phone bill through direct debit, even said he knew the last four digits of my debit card. I asked for the company’s UK address and he told me 2 Bridge Avenue, Maidenhead, Berkshire, plus a website which was something like [#]callblocker[###]. Sounds fishy, I’ll be looking into this dodgy call more.

I missed a call from 02030363697 but when I tried to make a call back, my phone automatically dialled this number by itself which freaked me out a bit. It felt like they could control my phone remotely from anywhere! I know computers can be accessed remotely but only if you give permission with a password, usually to fix issues. Not sure if this is some kind of scam trying to make money by keeping you on hold and charging premium rates or something dodgy like that.

I got a call from 02030363697, some bloke saying he was with telephone preference management. He asked if I’d had any dodgy telemarketing calls lately. I told him yes and then he said I’d need to pay £20 to block those calls. When I pushed back and said, “So I have to pay just to stop getting these calls, sounds a bit off coming from your company,” he got all defensive and rudely said I was a very cheeky “white” lady and needed to show respect to men like him. Proper ridiculous!

Just got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. He already had some info about me - my name, address, and that I sort my phone bill by direct debit. Then he asked me to confirm the expiry date on my debit card. I ended the call straight away. He rung back but I didn’t pick up. Makes me wonder if they’ve somehow got hold of customer info from BT?

A lady with a foreign accent said her name was Shirley and she was calling from TPS, asking for me by name. She claimed she knew I was on the register already and asked if I was still getting nuisance calls. I said yes, and she said she could help stop them if I re-registered. That’s when I told her I don’t trust anyone who calls me out of the blue and that I’d look into it myself. She just said alright and then ended the call.

Fed up seeing this number pop up all the time and no voice mails left, I finally picked up today to find out who kept ringing me. A woman, sounded like she was from abroad, said she was from the Telephone Preference Service and wanted to check my name, address and registration so they could 'reactivate' the service that stops annoying calls. When I declined to give any info and kept saying no, she got upset and hung up. Pretty sure she was just another one of the pest callers.

This bloke from India called saying he was with TPS. I let him talk for a bit, then he asked for the expiry date on my Visa to confirm my identity since I pay by Direct Debit. Got a call yesterday from a bloke sounding Indian, said his name was Ronald and he was from Telephone Preference Management, calling from 02030363697. I kept him chatting for a bit until he tried to create a new 19 digit ref number for my TPS sign-up. That’s when I realised he was after the 16 digits on my credit card plus the 3 security numbers on the back! Just got a call from someone pretending to be from the TPS. They had an Indian accent and were checking if my TPS registration was active. Well, it clearly isn’t if these dodgy characters are calling. But they never said they’d do a security check, and then suddenly started trying to confirm my address by saying “is your address...” At that point, I told them I’d handle things on my own, like reporting them to TPS. 02030363697 rang me 9 times tonight, luckily I have a phone that blocks calls so it never even rang, just showed me the same number kept trying. To get through to me, the caller has to say their name and then press #, so if they're using some auto dialer it won't get past. Looked it up here to see who it was, cheers for the help. Ironically, I got this call blocking phone because I signed up for the TPS ages ago, and that did nothing!

The caller started with "Finally, we can end your annoying calls!" Then, he rattled off my complete first and last name, my full address, including postcode. After that, he claimed he needed to verify my Visa payment and said the expiry year was 2016, but asked if the month was March or April. Luckily, he got many of my card details wrong. When I asked how they could possibly know which numbers to block since most calls come from international or hidden numbers, he insisted they had a way. Then he asked if I still pay my phone bill by direct debit and even started asking for the name on my card. That was my cue to end the call and hang up. These folks can easily trick vulnerable people and honestly, they deserve to be jailed forever.

Said he blocks annoying calls. I told him to maybe try himself first. When I asked what product he was offering, he said he wasn't selling anything, got a bit defensive, so I just said good afternoon and hung up.

Got a call similar to the others saying it was from TPS Management. They said they’d stop nuisance calls starting tomorrow, and when I pointed out they should already be doing that, the line just went dead. Luckily, they never asked for my card info or anything.

Got a call from a woman who sounded like she was working some call centre. When I told her I was on the T.P.S, she said she was from T.P.M (Telephone Preference Management) and claimed they could block calls not just from the UK but globally. I asked her for my info, and she had my name, address and postcode completely wrong. When I pointed it out, she asked me to give her my details, and that’s when I ended the call.

Got a call from someone trying to sneak my credit card info, total scam.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be with "Telephone Preference Management" or TPM. They asked if I was getting annoying calls. I asked them to tell me the full name and where they operated from. They said TPM is based in Birmingham. Then I asked for a postcode to check it out and they gave me one for Stockport. Bit strange considering the call came from a London number! I just ended the call there.

Somebody said they were from the TPS or something like that, wanting to check my info to stop annoying calls. I asked how I could trust they were legit. They said, "We’re government authorised." I told them I only had their word for it. Then, they just said “Alright” and ended the call. Guess they were probably gonna try and get my card details next.

Keeps ringing non stop. It goes straight to my voicemail but they never leave a message. I picked up once and nobody said a word. Another time I answered and the person said they were from the TPS and asked if I’d had any annoying calls. I said yes, loads from this same number, and then the bloke got a bit annoyed, started speaking quite rudely, saying he was trying to offer a service and I was just calling him a nuisance. I told him he was being cheeky, and he said I was the rude one. I hung up. They’re still calling though!

This number kept ringing me non stop and when I picked up, the person said they were from a call blocking company. Then they started asking how I pay my phone bill and tried to get me to verify my bank details. The moment I said no way I’m giving that info, they just ended the call straight away.

I didn’t pick up this number and no voicemail was left. Got like 5 calls within just a couple hours.

They kept pushing some call blocking thing and wanted me to confirm my visa or debit card details, even though the expiry date they mentioned was back in 2018. I told them I wouldn't do it. When I asked which bank the card was from, they just couldn't say. They insisted on getting my card number to "reactivate" a service I never even signed up for. Clearly trying to scam me into giving my card info for something I never agreed to.
