Received a call from someone named "David" representing something called "Global Computer Maintenance Support" on the number 0161 408 4448. He claimed that our Windows PC had a virus that he could rectify as soon as we switched it on. We didn't have any knowledge of a virus, so we told him so. While not outright rude, he certainly became quite forceful after we expressed our disbelief in his claims. He even threatened to pursue legal action when I accused him of being a scammer! Quite the experience!

The gentleman on the line claimed to be Dony Jackson from Microsoft, stating he could help us with what he described as a serious virus issue on our computer. I received a rather suspicious call the other day, with someone claiming there was an issue with my computer that involved the Microsoft platform.
