I received a call from a chap named Steve, and blimey, he had quite a thick Indian accent! He claimed to be from EE, trying to sell me a deal on a new iPhone. I quickly informed him that iphones aren't really my thing. He then sweetened the pot with a 20% discount on my current phone but wanted my name for some sort of record-keeping. When I mentioned that surely he already had that info, he insisted it was necessary. I wasn’t having any of it, so I politely declined and ended the call.

So, this individual claimed my credit rating was stellar and promised me a 20% reduction on tablets and computers, can you believe it? 😂 It’s obviously a con- steer clear of this number!

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from EE, who offered me a brand-new iPhone for £38 a month along with data. I explained that I only ever purchase second-hand devices, which made her chuckle and label me as “rather unique” for my choice. I took the opportunity to mention that I’ve never owned an Apple device in my life. However, as soon as I reiterated my disinterest, she abruptly ended the call without a word, leaving me feeling rather bemused by her laughter.

I received a call from this number while I was busy at work. My phone only displayed the number, and when I later looked at my missed calls, it indicated it was from something called JIE Search. I’m unfamiliar with the company and have had no prior interactions with them. A quick search online led me to their website, but interestingly, it provided a different contact number altogether. It’s all rather confusing as to why my phone attributes the call to them.
