Got a call like always, they said it was about a crash I supposedly was in. Then it switched to asking if I’d actually told anyone about the accident. After that, the caller got a bit nasty, blaming me for getting calls like that because apparently I’d been “shouting my number about”. The accent was proper Scouse too - definitely not someone you wanna chat with. Caller ID: Unknown.

So today, as I was on my way to pick up my missus, she got a call from this number asking about the accident our car had been in. It really stressed her out and she started to freak out a bit. She kept trying to ring me, but I never answer when I’m driving. She was just about to ring the cops and hospitals when I arrived. This kind of thing needs to be stopped. If anyone knows who these people are, please let me know because I want to report them to the police. The caller didn’t give a name.

After seeing the earlier posts, I got in touch with VoiceHost Limited but they said they couldn't share any info because of the Data Protection Act. That said, if the caller was from P&G Solutions (or maybe pandgsolutions), they seem to be a Liverpool-based firm. They’ve got a Facebook page where they offer help related to car crashes, which kinda fits with what’s been mentioned here. Honestly, I reckon it might be best to pass this on to the cops now.

According to the Government’s own site, “The Data Protection Act regulates how your PERSONAL data is handled by companies, businesses or the government.” It’s meant to safeguard individuals, not cover for COMPANIES running dodgy schemes. When I contacted VoiceHost, their defence was that they just manage loads of numbers and aren’t the ones making the calls. That’s like selling ammo to a known criminal and taking your cut. If you’re aware your clients are blatantly breaking the law, then you’re just as guilty. It’s like helping a drunk driver get behind the wheel and send them on their way. Ofcom won’t do much about it. The only real solution is to report these numbers to the provider and pressure them into cleaning up their act. - caller: 02030115529

Someone called me earlier claiming his name was Adam and mentioned something about a minor accident. When I asked him to share the car's registration number, he refused, saying he wasn’t allowed to. I told him I hadn’t been in any crash. Suddenly, he said I was wasting his time. When I replied, he snapped back, telling me I wasn’t the only one who could be rude and then told me to F*** off with some really nasty language. Honestly, I was stunned and disgusted. Arrrggghhh! This is so frustrating. I keep getting calls from this annoying number almost every single day. It's driving me up the wall. Whenever you pick up, no one ever speaks. So, yesterday afternoon, 28/01/15 at about 1:01 pm, I got a call on my mobile while I was driving. I ended the call pretty quickly because of what was said, which was quite offensive. They left a voicemail but I couldn’t make out the exact words, just that it was rude. When I tried ringing the number back from both my mobile and my home phone, I was told the number wasn’t valid or didn’t exist.

They mostly ring during the late afternoon or early evening. Strangely, they only call my mobile, never my home phone. Last year, I was told by my insurance company that an employee had leaked some info, got fired and the police got involved. This all started happening since then.

I questioned 'Adam' again and he then said they’d take my info out of their system and that I wasn’t the only person they’d contacted today by mistake. I got a call from an Adam on this number saying my case had been handed over to him about a crash I supposedly had? Thing is, I’ve never been in any kind of accident. I asked him straight up and he then asked if I’d had any incidents in the past three years - still nothing on my end. I pushed back again and he eventually said he’d take my details off their system and mentioned a few other people had the same mix-up today?? Why would my name be linked to any accident file when I haven’t had one? Would be great if someone could look into who this person is.
