I asked if I could just donate through the LSHTM’s official website because I’m always wary of giving card details over the phone. They told me I had to donate over the phone instead. They tried to explain why, but honestly, I’d already started thinking it might be a scam. It seemed dodgy especially since someone in the comments here posted a legit link to the LSHTM fundraising page which has a donate button. They've called again but I haven't answered.
