Uniplus Telecom keep ringing trying to sell us a new phone line. Even after I explained we’ve got a business contract that runs for another two years, they just won’t stop. These calls come through nearly every other day and it’s getting really annoying. We’ve blocked the number on our end now. I had quite the unpleasant experience with a rather ill-mannered Indian gentleman who pretended to be from the Telephone Preference Agency. When I politely declined his offer and ended the call, he promptly rang me back, insisting he would keep harassing me. I requested to speak to his superior, but to my astonishment, he refused to connect me with anyone higher up! This number has certainly turned out to be nothing but a bothersome nuisance. The chap became increasingly aggressive, even raising his voice at me. Some bloke claiming to be from BT's engineering team said my router was faulty 'cause he said there were loads of red lights flashing. I looked for myself and all the lights were green and blinking. The accent and phrases were clearly Indian, and it was the third time they’d called in a few days. The guy was pretty pushy, kept insisting there was a problem and wouldn’t answer my questions before just hanging up on me.
