Despite usually not picking up, I answered a call from 020 3007 9669 today. The person on the line said they were from some mobile company whose name I couldn’t catch properly and mentioned something about an unpaid bill on my phone contract. After calling them scammers and giving them a real piece of my mind, the caller hung up pretty quick, clearly not wanting to deal with me. I’ve put them straight onto my blocked list now!

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise and didn't pick up. Then I saw a very similar number, something like 0200 3007 96xx, saying they're from some "mobile phone" provider offering discounts. Looks like another spam call to me!

So this caller said they were from my mobile network and offered me a 40% off deal. But they wanted me to do some steps through texts before I could get anything. Felt a bit fishy to me.
