I recently received a rather dodgy call from this number. The individual on the line, with a pronounced Indian accent, was rather hard to follow. They claimed to be representing O2, promising me a tantalising 40% discount on my upcoming bill. They mentioned that a one-time code would be sent to me, and lo and behold, a text message did arrive shortly after. However, I promptly ended the call and reached out to O2 directly. To my relief, they confirmed that they never initiate calls to customers regarding discounts and unequivocally do not request one-time codes or any sensitive details through phone calls. Such information is only ever solicited from customers when they initiate the contact. So, be warned - this is definitely SPAM and potentially a scam!
