I got a call from Newsteam’s customer service from this number. They went through my info without me giving it first, then told me about some free grocery deals they’re running. They said they’d send the groceries along with my newspaper three times at set intervals. After that, if I’m happy, the deliveries will keep coming at the same rate and the charges will be added to my paper bill. If I want to stop, I just have to tell them. The call took a while to actually connect, which made me a bit wary at first, but overall I reckon this number is legit and not a scam.

They’ve been ringing me nearly every day, and before they said they were from the News Team. Today I finally answered and told them to stop calling, but no one said a word... feels like a scam to me.

After about two months without a peep, the calls have started up once more. Last time this happened, I got sick of it and reported these annoying calls to my mobile company, Tesco, and that seemed to do the trick for a while. Even though I've changed to a new phone, I kept the same number and SIM. From now on, I'm just ignoring this number whenever it pops up on my screen.
