Another mysterious phone number from London popped up on my screen today, and as per usual, I decided to ignore it. I simply block any numbers I don’t recognise. If someone truly needs to reach me, I reckon they’d drop me a text or leave a voicemail, and they ought to know my name too. But of course, that never happens, so I don’t feel the slightest bit concerned about missing their calls. More often than not, these pesky scammers hang up after about five rings; they clearly don’t fancy leaving a message!

I got a call from a lady named Linda’s Tumer who said she found out I’d been in an accident, and it wasn’t my fault or anything. She said she was ringing from some place called Dubai Limited or something like that. Really odd.

I just received a rather unpleasant call from a woman named Linda Turner. As soon as I inquired about how my number ended up in her hands, she became quite aggressive and demanded to know if I’ve had an accident in the last three years. When I requested her to kindly remove my details from her records, she promptly hung up. I've subsequently blocked her number, so I strongly recommend not picking up if this number rings.

The issue lies in the fact that many of us will grow hesitant to answer any unfamiliar calls, which could lead to missing important communications from people we do need to connect with. It really is high time laws were enacted to curb this sort of conduct; I’m getting inundated with calls like this, and it’s even happening on my work phone!
