Had a call from some bloke claiming to be from “Shebang” offering me a free phone. I turned the tables and joked, “Shebang, the adult film company, right?” He said no, so I went on, “Oh, so you’re the one chasing me for that £10k I’m owed for starring in your film and the lawsuit I’m bringing, yeah? Well, I’m not accepting a phone as a settlement!” Then he just hung up 😂😂 Total scam, just ignore or mess with them, but whatever you do, don’t share any personal info.

Total scam. No British accent whatsoever, had a look up the number online and all I found were warnings from others. I've put in a complaint with BT and also blocked it. What made me report it was that this number somehow got past my BT call protect setup. I'm convinced it's a fraud attempt, especially since they asked right away for my bank details and sort code. My reply was pretty harsh, to say the least. Only picked up cos I'm expecting a call from the hospital about a poorly family member.

Got calls from a bloke claiming to be from 'sherbang', trying to push a Vodafone contract on me. Absolutely no chance im gettin caught out by this nonsense.
