Watch out, it's a scam! I got a bogus letter supposedly from the People’s Postcode Lottery telling me I’d been randomly chosen, along with others, to get a £385,000 prize from unclaimed winnings. They told me to reach out to a Mr James Taylor at Ultimate Finance to sort out the payment. Obviously I didn’t ring the numbers provided because I had a funny feeling about it. I just looked up the phone number online and sure enough, it was linked to a scam. Not really shocking, honestly!

Got a call saying I’d won an inheritance of £4 million! Bit suspicious if you ask me.

So, just like that, we've apparently "won" some lottery we never signed up for. Funny how after four years since the first call, these lines are still ringing. Makes you wonder how good the rules and regulations really are, doesn't it?

Got a letter saying I've won something from the International FIFA Lottery Program, with this number to call to claim the prize. Seems fishy to me.

Got a call claiming I'd won the lottery, then they asked for my bank info. Classic scam trying to steal your details!

Beware of a scammer going by the name David J Matteo.

I got a letter in the post from some so-called "David J Matteo" Law Firm saying I've been picked to inherit £16.8 million from their late client. Seems totally dodgy to me! Seriously hope nobody out there buys into this nonsense.

Got a dodgy letter about cash supposedly held by Avila insurance, but it’s for a person with my last name, not me. Definitely looks like a scam.

Got a letter claiming I won the Health Lottery UK, but when I checked, the address they gave is for a building that’s not even sold yet. Definitely looks like a scam.

Received a dodgy message claiming I'd bagged £850,000 in the health lottery. Absolute nonsense!

That’s bizarre! Apparently I’ve bagged £850,000 from some health lottery, even though I’ve never signed up for one. No way I’m calling them to get it sorted.

My partner got a letter in the post, with her proper name and our full address on it, mentioning this number. The envelope was marked "Health Lottery UK" and had an address in Aberdeen - looking that up online, it's an empty, run-down site. The letter claimed she had won a big prize and asked her to ring the number. Clearly just a scam.

My husband has supposedly bagged £750,000 through the Health Lottery here in the UK. However, the fact that they insist on keeping the claim under wraps until it’s officially sorted and the money’s in hand sends up all sorts of alarms! It's absolutely mind-boggling, and I really hope no one is taken in by this ruse. It’s outrageous! Folks like this really ought to be held accountable. I can’t help but feel for those who might be vulnerable and fall for their tricks. They've provided two numbers to supposedly get in touch: 02020006992 and 0740 541 9965.

We received a correspondence claiming that we had won the Health Lottery UK, but I don't possess a ticket number linked to them. I'm quite certain this is nothing more than a scam.

Never got a call from this number, but it’s linked to a dodgy letter I saw, saying you’ve won something from Health Lottery UK. The letter tells you to keep it secret and ring them up before a certain date. I even spotted some versions of that letter floating around the internet.

I never got a call from this number, but it turned up on a letter I was sent. The letter claimed it was from a lawyer over in Spain, saying I might be able to claim some kind of inheritance. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Received a rather dubious letter claiming I’ve hit the jackpot in an international FIFA World Cup lottery, saying I’ve won a whopping £825,000. They wanted me to ring some chap named Michael Bell on 02030006992. Honestly, I tossed that letter straight into the bin - feels like a scam to me!

I got a letter from something called West Fargo Lottery Inc in the US claiming I’ve won a huge sum - they say it’s £18,650,000.00. At first, it looked pretty legit but after doing some digging, I couldn’t find any proof this company even exists. The letter said to contact John Lamb at 02030006992, but honestly, don’t bother with that number - it’s obviously a scam.

Got a letter supposedly from the ‘International Postcode Online Lottery’ signed by some Nicholas Murray, who claims to be the president. It said I’ve won £825,000 and to claim it, I should ring John Lamb on the number they gave. Pretty obviously a scam, so I looked up the address on the letter. Turns out they messed up the postcode too - it was a Chicago code but the address said New York. Total scam and honestly, a really rubbish one at that.
