I've taken the step to report the number and blocked them forthwith. She claimed to be from Microsoft and said there was ‘suspicious activity’ on my IP address. She even asked for my name to confirm it. When I told her I didn’t recognise the name she mentioned, which must’ve been tied to my landline, she just cut me off.
