7 yearsJust a heads up to everyone, I had a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft. They kept saying my computer was at risk and hackers were trying to get in. I guess they figure most folks don’t really understand how computers or the internet function, so this trick might work on them. Luckily for me, I know a bit about this stuff, so I wasn’t fooled. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away. Stay careful out there!Microsoft7 yearsGot a call from a woman with a really strong Asian accent, sounded like she was in some call centre. She claimed to be from Microsoft and said there was ‘suspicious activity’ on my IP address. She even asked for my name to confirm it. When I told her I didn’t recognise the name she mentioned, which must’ve been tied to my landline, she just cut me off. Pretty sure she was gearing up to offer some “help” and try to scam me for cash.MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (020 2916 1241)
