Heads up to everyone! I’ve just had a rather perilous call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft. They went on about some fictitious threat, insisting that hackers were gunning for me. It's baffling how they think this ruse can catch people off guard, especially since so many folks aren't all that savvy with tech and internet safety. Luckily for me, I know better. I've taken the step to report the number and blocked them forthwith. Stay safe, everyone!

Got a call from a woman with a really strong Asian accent, sounded like she was in some call centre. She claimed to be from Microsoft and said there was ‘suspicious activity’ on my IP address. She even asked for my name to confirm it. When I told her I didn’t recognise the name she mentioned, which must’ve been tied to my landline, she just cut me off. Pretty sure she was gearing up to offer some “help” and try to scam me for cash.
