She rang me up four times, keepin' on about gettin' my laptop turned on. When I said I was with Virgin, she went on sayin’ it didn’t matter since everything was through BT anyway. I asked her for her number so I could call back, but she just hung up straight away. Then, she called me another four times after that. Proper frustrating.

I got a call today from someone saying they were from BT, warning me that my internet would be off for a couple of months due to some dodgy activity on my account. Thought it sounded fishy but played along for a bit. The woman, who said her name was "Kelly Smith" but had a strong Asian accent, tried to get me to open a program by pressing the Windows key and R, which she said she’d help me with. I just stopped responding and eventually she hung up. Honestly, if anyone asks you to do that, don’t do it!

This number has been blowing up my phone all week, just like what others are saying here. Sometimes I pick up and they hang up right away, other times I just let it go to voicemail. Today though, I answered and an Asian woman said she was from BT and claimed they were planning to suspend our account for two months. Naturally, I asked for details since we have a business line with BT, not a home phone. She got really annoyed when I kept questioning her and then abruptly ended the call. I've also seen this number pretending to be loads of different companies: BT, Microsoft, GiffGaff, Amazon, even Paypal. So seriously, watch out for this one!

I’m with SKY too and honestly this number keeps buzzing me non-stop. Didn’t pick up any of the calls though. Just today it rang 14 times, 9 of them came all within 60 minutes! I had a chat with SKY about it - I pay about £4 something every month and they let me block up to 10 numbers, plus I can stop the service whenever I want. Figured I’d give it a go for a month and see if that bothers this caller enough to stop. Hope this info helps someone out.

This number rang me earlier today. The bloke on the line spoke with such bad English, it was hard to catch what he was saying. He claimed there was a problem with my internet service. I think he said BT, but when I told him I'm not with BT, he just brushed it off like it didn't matter. Then he went on about cutting off my broadband for a couple of months.
